Over 160 people enjoyed a fantastic
night at the dinner dance in Jackson’s Hotel on Saturday the 27th with
the music provided by Idle Hands.

to a great night!
The following are the results of the
Dinner/Dance +100 club Monster Draw: 1st (€1,000) – Liam Kelly,
2nd (€500) - Liam Doherty, Mounthall, 3rd (€100) –
Mickey Gallagher, Meenlougher.
Winners in the special raffle were: 1st: Carvery lunch
for 2 in Jackson’s – Kathy Kelly, 2nd: Bottle of Champagne –
Caoimhe Browne, Beeches, 3rd: Bottle of Wine – Frank McMenamin,
4th: Bottle of Wine – Monena Bradley.
The following awards were given out by
the men: Joint Senior Players of the Year - PJ Gallagher/Carl Scanlon;
Reserve Player of the Year – Gerard Gallagher; Young Player of the Year –
Thomas McMenamin; Minor Player of the Year – Aaron Bradley. The Hall of Fame was won by Cecil Nixon
and Club Man of the Year was awarded to Eamon Kelly.
The ladies board presented the
following awards: Joint Senior Player – Tina McMenamin and Amanda Sweeney;
Young Player – Christina McMenamin and appreciation awards were made to
managers Gerard McColgan and Gerard Melaugh, to Charlie & Alice Doherty
for all their help throughout the year and to Rory Harvey for his work as
PRO. Maurice ‘Hovis’ O’Donnell also
received special recognition on the night.
